It is a privilege to serve as the principal of Walgrove Avenue Elementary School for Advanced Studies. Walgrove’s strong sense of community, commitment to excellence, and shared focus on student success remain at the heart of all that we do. I am grateful to work alongside such a dedicated staff and engaged families who consistently support our students and one another.
I believe deeply in the potential of every child and remain committed to providing a learning environment that is both supportive and intellectually challenging. Our goal is to ensure that all students feel safe, engaged, and inspired to learn each day. Programs such as our Wildlands, STEAM Studio, Edible Garden, School for Advanced Studies pathway, and theater program continue to offer meaningful opportunities for students to explore, create, and grow.
Collaboration among teachers, staff, families, and our greater community is essential to student success.
Strong partnerships between home and school allow us to better support students academically, socially, and emotionally. I value open communication and encourage families to remain actively involved and connected. Every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and celebrated, and that belief drives our daily work.
