Hello, Hello!
Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year! We can't wait to see you on August 12, 2026 - our first day of school!
I am excited to welcome both our returning families and those joining the Walgrove community for the first time. I hope you had a wonderful summer filled with time to relax, recharge, and create lasting memories.
As we begin a new school year, I am filled with excitement and optimism for all that lies ahead. Last year, our students and staff made tremendous academic growth through hard work, collaboration, and a shared commitment to high-quality, standards-based instruction. This year, we will continue building on that success while providing every student with engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
At Walgrove, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, challenged, and valued. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to creating classrooms where students develop strong academic skills while also growing as kind, responsible, and resilient individuals.
This year, we will continue to strengthen instruction in literacy and mathematics while expanding opportunities for hands-on learning through our exceptional programs, including our STEAM Studio, The Wildlands, The Edible Garden, Studio Lab, visual and performing arts, theater, and School for Advanced Studies (SAS) opportunities. These experiences help make Walgrove a place where every child can discover their interests and talents.
A strong partnership between home and school is essential to student success. I encourage you to stay connected
by reading our weekly newsletters, visiting our website, attending school events, and joining us for Coffee with the Principal. Your involvement and support make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.
